Shabbat

Shabbat…

Started well before the dictation of the Torah to Moses, dating back to Genesis, when God created man on the sixth day and rested on the seventh day (Genesis 1:26 - Genesis 2: 3). The Lord uses his servant Moses to reintroduce and establish the Sabbath as his (holy) holy day in the Torah (the Torah is alive and eternal, it is out of time.) The Torah is a direction, instruction, divine command, prophetic teaching, spiritual light, the body of instruction in the Messianic Age), so Christ is the living Torah, fulfilling and giving meaning to the law of God (Matthew 5:17 - 20). Shabbat remains the sacred day of the Lord and not the opposite.

Then Yeshua said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.”
— Marc 2:27

For this reason, VVCM celebrates Shabbat every week.
