Obediance

“Just listen and follow and everything will be alright”

“Know the difference”

“Be conscious of your doings”

Obedience: the compliance with an order, request or law to another’s authority. Since our early hood, we’ve been taught to obey our parents. The commandments are a set of rules we are taught to use these rules in our life. Obedience isn't a hard concept when you know that it's for the best for you. We are given the choice to receive good or one that leads  to negative outcomes.

From the beginning looking at Genesis we have the story of the garden. Then we are introduced to Noah and his ark. As we read further, we continue to see that the soul purpose looked for is obedience.

“Always remember what is written in that book of law. Speak about that book and study it day and night. Then you can be sure to obey what is written there. If you do this, you will be wise and successful in everything you do.”

- Joshua 1:8

Take the time this week to examine yourself and really examine yourself. How is obedience seen in your life? What are some aspects in which you are neglecting? “So get rid of everything evil in your lives—every kind of wrong you do. Be humble and accept God’s teaching that is planted in your hearts. This teaching can save you. Do what God’s teaching says; don’t just listen and do nothing. When you only sit and listen, you are fooling yourselves.” James 1:21-22.
