Holy Spirit
It is a day in which we should rejoice and see love in the hearts of every true believer of Christ: it is Pentecost!
As an appointed festival of the Lord, we should be happy and excited to be able to receive the Holy Spirit and to celebrate His presence in our lives. The verse that we will be meditating this week, John 14:26, says this:
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

What Yeshua is trying to tell us is two-pronged. Firstly, He is telling us that He will send the Holy Spirit to teach us all things. It means that we still have a lot of things to learn and a lot of elements that need to be revealed to us in the Word of God. As well, that very same Spirit is going to remind us of the words of Yeshua, the words of peace and truth that we need to have inscribed in our hearts.
It is only one of the many reasons that we should celebrate. The Lord gave us the Law and His only begotten son so that we may be able to live in righteousness. But now, He also gives us His spirit so that we are all able to follow His commands everyday. We are not able to do it by ourselves, with just the flesh and bones of our bodies. We need the Holy Spirit to accompany us on our daily walk of life so that we may not stumble and fall.

Think about it: How much time do I spend in my day with the Holy Spirit? Do I know what the Holy Spirit likes and does not like? Do I pay attention to the Holy Spirit when He speaks to me?
Prayer: This week, pray for the Holy Spirit. Pray so that He may reveal Himself to you and that you may go deeper into prayer and His presence. Present yourself to Him, knowing the truth that the Lord sent Him and that you are willing and wanting of His presence.
