Believing in Yeshua
There is power in the knowledge that comes from knowing who Yeshua is. He is more than just a historical figure, but also a Lord and Savior of His people and those who follow Him in truth and in spirit.
The verse that we will be dissecting and attempting to understand this week comes from the book of John, which states.
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
- John 7:38
Believing in Yeshua is more than just accepting Him as your Lord and savior, as it is commonly believed. In fact, there’s more to it. You have to believe in Him just like the Scripture says. We must remember that John writes this and the Gospel hasn’t been written yet, therefore he is referring to the Old Testament.
The one that is filled with the prophecies of the Messiah who will save His people!
We need to know the Old Testament to understand the greatness and blessing that comes with the person of Yeshua and what it means to us. From that, our bellies will flow rivers of living water, a testament to the goodness that the Father has given us.

Think About It: Who is Yeshua to me? Do I base myself on the little that I know, or do I continuously pursue Him and knowledge?
Prayer: This week, pray so that the Lord Yeshua will reveal Himself to you in new and wonderful ways today.
