In Our Midst

Within the sanctuaries that serve Him faithfully and properly, or even when two or three are united to serve His holy name: He is there. The Creator of Heaven and Earth is often described as being omnipresent, a quick term that means “always there”. His presence is everywhere where He is wanted and that is wonderful.

I want you all to join me in the reading of this week, as we learn more about this wonderful God, YHWH, in the book of Zepheniah:

The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

- Zepheniah 3:17

Is it not wonderful that that is the God that we serve? This is an all powerful King who is indescribable, but who will still save us. Even though we sin and aren’t perfect. He allows us to repent and to try to do better, which is always possible. This is the grace that He has given us as His children.

And He is always there.

In those moments of darkness, where you feel as if there is no one to listen and be there for you. He is there. When it feels as if the world is crumbling around you. He is there. When you feel alone. You aren’t alone, because YHWH is there, as He is here in our midst right now. Showing us love by giving us life and allowing us to live the life that we live with Him.

Associated Bible Verse: Psalm 147:11, Hebrews 7:25, Isaiah 12:2

Think About It: Do you ever take the time to acknowledge the greatness of the Father, YHWH? Does it ever occur to you that He is right there, with you, and that you are loved by Him when you follow His commandments?

Prayer: This week, pray so that you are able to praise and adore Him in everything that you do. Present yourself to Him so that He may show you what He wants to show you and tell you what you must see.
